Piercing done through a gun take a longer time to heal, than as compared to piercing done by a needle. For a quick healing, one must clean the area regularly with any soft soap and rinse it thoroughly. A tissue can be used to dry it up. Any kind of ointment should be avoided. Another important issue one must keep in mind is, you must not ever try to remove any jewelry from the infected area. If the swelling and pain are troubling for a long period, then you must visit your piercer for help. Always choose a piercing salon wisely as if such sensitive piercing is not done carefully it can result into severe infections and swellings.

 As per as the cost is concerned for Cartilage Piercing, it varies from place to place. The total cost consists of two different costs. One is called the site cost. This means the site where the piercing is done determines its cost. Different area requires different types of equipments. Thus, experts charge different prices for different area. The other cost is of course the jewelry cost. Always go for jewelries made of pure metal like gold or titanium. Remember, jewelry also plays an important role in the healing process.
