Any jewelry in the normal tongue piercing resides slightly backward and always away from the teeth. The frenulum piercing is another form of tongue piercing which is also called the tongue frenulum piercing. This piercing is done in the region beneath the tongue, which is called the frenulum. The snake eye piercing is the mildest of the tongue piercing forms where a horizontal curve is created through the tongue tip.

 Now having said all that, the teenagers must know that the tongue piercing causes a lot of bleeding and swelling of the tongue. After the piercing, cold water, ice and cold beverage consumption is advised. The healing period of a tongue piercing is minimum among most other forms of body piercing ad usually takes 4 weeks. However, the tongue piercing might result in a lot of oral decays and hazards.

 The tongue piercing method must ensure complete healing otherwise serious oral hazards like the gum swelling, gum irritation, oral infection, severe bleeding, dental fracture and many more might occur. An expert must be consulted prior to the pricking, during the piercing or even after the piercing. The tongue piercing is usually accompanied by slightly thick rings of soft jewelry. The tongue piercing has also become a steady fashion among people of all age groups in the West.
